Registration Fees
T-ball and pitching machine registration costs $150.  After December 21st, registration fees for competitive divisions will be $235.  SMNLL also charges a $50 per family field maintenance fee and a $25 per player uniform fee.  Note that the field maintenance fee will show up in Registration as a $50 add-on to the first player you register.

Which Program is Right for My Player?
Little League eligibility is determined by your player’s age on August 31, 2019 for baseball and December 31, 2018 for softball.  The registration system’s program descriptions can help determine the appropriate division for your child, but for competitive divisions (Farm and up), evaluations and division size will also be taken into consideration in placement.  Please note that T-Ball and Pitching Machine are co-ed divisions.  Please contact the Registrar at [email protected] if you have any questions about which division is appropriate for your player.

New Player Age & Residency Verification
Eligibility to play in SMNLL is strictly controlled by Little League International and requires either residency or school attendance within SMNLL's boundaries.  Please see the link below to determine whether your player is eligible for SMNLL before registering.  Note that softball players living or attending school in the neighboring Pasadena Southwest and Pasadena American district boundaries are also eligible to play in SMNLL.

New players must verify their eligibility to play in SMNLL by scanning and emailing the following documents to [email protected], or uploading the documents during registration

1.      Your child's birth certificate

2a.      Proof of attendance of a K-12 school with a San Marino address, OR

2b.      Proof of SMNLL residency with the current address, including one document from each of the three following groups:

Player Evaluations
All players who intend to participate in one of the competitive divisions of baseball or softball (Farm and up) MUST attend an evaluation session on Saturday, January 12th, 2019.  A make-up session is scheduled for Saturday, January 19th, 2019.  Every effort should be made to have your child attend the first session on January 12th.  See the League website ( for more information, including location and time.
Team Requests

T-Ball and Pitching Machine players can request teammates or coaches in the registration process.  Teams in competitive divisions are formed using a draft process, and thus do not accept team/coach requests.

Practice/Game Times

T-Ball and Pitching Machine games are typically held once a week on Saturdays, with one practice during the week at a time determined by the manager.  Competitive divisions (Farm and up) typically play 1-2 games a week and practice 1-2 times a week, at various times.  Given the complexity of forming teams, SMNLL is unable to take practice time requests.

SMNLL needs your help managing/coaching, setting up fields, and in other roles!  Please sign up for a volunteer role during the registration process and the League will contact you with additional information.  Volunteers will need to submit a completed new/returning volunteer form and copy of ID to [email protected] or upload the form during registration.

Each team in SMNLL must have a $250 Team Sponsor, who will receive recognition in the Yearbook.  SMNLL also accepts $500 Banner Sponsors, who will be recognized with a custom banner placed on an SMNLL field.  Donations to SMNLL are tax-deductible and can be made either during the registration process or by downloading the donation form on the SMNLL website.
