SMNLL Mandatory Evaluations for Farm/Minors/Majors - Sat January 13th

It's time to play ball! Baseball and softball mandatory evaluations for Farm, Minors, and Majors will be held on Saturday, January 13th at Huntington Middle School. Make-ups will be held on the following Saturday, January 20th (times TBD). Please note that T-Ball and Coach Pitch players DO NOT need to attend evaluations, and teams will be formed in early February.

SMNLL holds evaluations in order to create balanced teams and make sure each player ends up in the appropriate division. Evaluations consist of hitting and defensive drills, and players do not need to have baseball/softball experience, but they do need to bring an appropriate glove and preferably their own bat and helmet. Players need to attend one of the two evaluations, and if your player does not attend an evaluation and you do not contact us, we cannot guarantee that they will be placed on a team.

Please arrive 20-30 minutes before your scheduled evaluation so you can get registered. Note that our registration for Farm and older divisions closes at 11:59pm on Friday, January 19th before the second evaluation, so be sure to register ASAP!

Baseball Schedule - Saturday, January 13th
Majors BB 10am - 11am (HMS West Majors field)
Minors BB 11am - noon (HMS West Majors field)
Farm BB Noon - 1pm (HMS West Majors field)
High School Prep BB (will be held on January 21st, more details to follow)

Softball Schedule - Saturday, January 13th
Combined Majors AND Minors SB 9am - 10:30am (HMS East field)
Farm SB 10:30am - 11:30am (HMS East field)
Juniors SB (no evals needed)
